Dakota Fanning’s New Role

Dakota Fanning and her mother were spotted out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, November 4.

The 15-year-old actress is rumored to be in talks for the lead role in the upcoming flickBetsy and the Emperor. Al Pacino has singed to play Napoleon.

Betsy and the Emperor, based on the children’s book by Staton Rabin, tells the true story of Lucia Elizabeth Balcombe, whose father was Napoleon’s jailer during his exile on St. Helena. The two struck up a friendship and rumors flew that the exiled Emperor was romancing the teenager, though they have never been proven.
