Emilie de Ravin Talks About Robert Pattinson

E! Online’s Marc Malkin talked with Emilie de Ravin about Remember Me and working with Rob, especially on those scenes that tend to be uncomfortable.

Locking lips with Robert Pattinson was just another day at the office for Emilie de Ravin.

“He’s a lovely guy,” says De Ravin, who costars as Pattinson’s love interest in the soon-to-be-released Remember Me. “Nothing felt unnatural or weird.”

Luckily, Pattinson was someone the Aussie starlet liked…

“Sometimes those things are awkward, but we get along really well and we’re friends,” she said. “So everything in that respect then was much easier. It became just a part of the day.”

Not so easy was shooting most of the romantic drama on location in New York City. Overzealous Pattinson fans and paparazzi seemed to be everywhere. “Crazy is the word,” de Ravin remembered. “It’s a little challenging sometimes. We were very accessible to people in Manhattan.

“It’s fascinating, though,” she continued with a laugh. “I didn’t know there were so many women here…You’re trying to work out your rehearsal and all these eyes just watching everything you’re doing It’s like, ‘OK, I’ve just got to focus.’”

And not pay attention to tabloid speculation about their relationship. “I never understood that,” de Ravin said. “I never did and I still don’t…It’s acting. I feel like people should kind of get that.”

In Remember Me, Pattinson plays a rebellious son of a wealthy New Yorker who ends up falling in love with Ally (de Ravin), the daughter of a Queens policeman.

Be warned, this is a tearjerker.

De Ravin said, “If you don’t cry, there’s something wrong with you.”

Robert Pattinson’s Brief ‘Remember Me’ Promotional Tour

E! Online discusses the very brief promotion that Rob Pattinson will be doing for his upcoming film Remember Me. This is probably due to the fact that he will be busy filming his next project Bel Ami.

As we all know by now, Robert Pattinson will be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon March 1 and The View new, nonvampire flick Remember Me. March 2 to promote his

But how much more press he’ll be doing around the time of the film’s release is probably going to be limited to not much else…

While he’ll be in New York City the last week of February for the press junket and is expected to attend the big premiere on March 1, he has to get back to Europe sooner rather than later to continue filming Bel Ami.

When asked if there is a chance Pattinson would be hosting Saturday Night Live, like Taylor has done already, our insider said, “I can’t imagine he could. Maybe he can make a cameo, but to host you need about a week to rehearse.”

Pattinson’s Remember Me costar Emilie de Ravin will pop up on The View with him, but she’ll probably do a publicity push in Toronto without him.

As we first told you, Pattinson and de Ravin shot a fashion spread at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for an upcoming issue of Vogue.

Although we’re hopeful Rob will be able to squeeze in some more television appearances for Remember Me, don’t fret too much. We hear Summit is planning another gangbusters promotional tour for the June release of Eclipse.

Rob Pattinson Has His Own Comic Book?

E! Online has the first look of Bluewater Productions’ brand new project-Fame, a Robert Pattinson comic.

Lady Gaga and Robert Pattinson have more in common than you think—they both like to sparkle, they both can sing and they both look fabulous in cartoon form.

The second installment of Bluewater Productions’ new comic book line, Fame, features none other than your favorite sparkle vamp. The 32-pager doesn’t hit comic book stores and Amazon.com until May, but E! News has the exclusive first look.

The issue, written by Kim Sherman and drawn by Nathaniel Ooten, with the cover created by Juan Mar Studios, delves into the star’s music, modeling and, of course, those dreamy roles he played in the Harry Potter and Twilight movies.

Kristen Stewart – Sundance and ‘Welcome to the Rileys’

E! Online’s got a chance to sit down with Kristen Stewart at Sundance Film Festival.  They talked to her about her break from filming and how she handled her role in Welcome to the Rileys.

Everyone is raving about your performance—how did you prepare for this particular, shall we say, slightly more risqué role?

“Umm, Jake [Scott, the director] had a lot to do with my preparation and understanding of the type of person I was playing, and his serious regard of sensitivity towards those people. I play a girl who has sort of been stripped of any choice and really stripped of any normal upbringing. Like she couldn’t establish who she was because of things that have happened to her and she became a ‘working girl,’ if you want to call it that.

“So in preparing for the role I talked to a lot of people, actually like three people in New Orleans, that were strippers that were working in this bar that we ended up using in the movie…I don’t really prepare for anything, it’s just about like, keeping it in your mind the whole time. If it affects you…it’s just about understanding it more, it’s not about having to like physically—oh, but I did have to do pole dancing lessons! But you don’t really see that in the movies.”

Stephenie Meyer Responds to Breaking Dawn Rumors

E! Online’s Ted Casablanca stated yesterday in his gossip column The Awful Truth that his “Deep Twi-source” said Stephenie Meyer can’t decide if Breaking Dawn should be in two movies.  Stephenie Meyer responded to gossip on her website:

Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I’ve said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I’m all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I’ve spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We’re all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip get fabricated to stir things up, but there’s no basis to this particular story.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart NOT Engaged….. DUH!!

OK! Magazine has the announcement on this week’s cover that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are engaged. COME ON GUYS, who believes this stuff??? Obviously it isn’t true, someone was just looking to sell more magazines.  Here is what E! Online says in response:

It doesn’t take a publicist’s statement to refute this tall tale. OK!’s new cover story does the leg work for us.

The tabloid’s front page claims Twilight costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have recently moved in together and are engaged.

The article, however, says nearly nothing of the sort.

“If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?’ ” an insider supposedly tells the mag. “And Rob loves to say ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”

Something tells us that being “like a couple of love-struck teenagers” has little in common with a pair about to exchange I-dos. “Spending nights together in Rob’s suite” in Vancouver is hardly cohabitating, either.

Robsten fanggirls eventually will get their wish. (Spoiler alert!) Bella agrees to marry her favorite vamp in Eclipse, and they tie the knot in Breaking Dawn. But for now, we highly doubt reality is that close to fiction (especially with K.Stew in that lovely wig).

Will Breaking Dawn Make it to the Big Screen?

Edward-Bella-s-Wedding-3-breaking-d

In a new article over at E! Online, Mark Malkin reports that he as exclusive information concerning Breaking Dawn straight from a Summit Representative -

While there’s been no official announcement that all systems are go for a fourth Twilight flick, a rep for Summit Entertainment promises that Eclipse will not be the last we see of Robert Pattinson & company…

“The fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen,” the rep said. “As in all creative processes, things take time. We want to make sure we get it right.”

And as Twilight fans know, that probably means softening the more hard-core aspects of Breaking Dawn.

“Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence and to see gore,” Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told us in late April.

Gore or not, Kristen Stewart probably said it best when we chatted with her in March.

“We all really hope there is going to be a number four,” she said at the time. “I’m pretty confident that the fans aren’t going to…lose interest. The only case that a fourth one wouldn’t be made is if all of a sudden people stopped caring, and I really don’t think that’s going to happen.”
