Go to any of the Hot Topic locations listed below at 8:00AM on October 31st, 2009, and purchase a commemorative The Twilight Saga: New Moon Tour T-shirt. You’ll get a wristband* that’ll give you access to the event at the location you purchase your T-shirt from. SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT OFFERS TWILIGHT FANS
THE CHANCE TO MEET CAST MEMBERS OF
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOONLos Angeles, CA October 23, 2009 – This November, Summit Entertainment invites TWILIGHT fans to THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON cast tour, visiting 15 cities nationwide.
The nationwide tour will kick off in Los Angeles, CA at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, November 6th with a special event open to the public where fans will be treated with performances by several bands featured on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON soundtrack scheduled to include Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls, giving fans a brand-new way to experience the album. Fans can also attend a Question & Answer forum with many of the movie’s cast members.
At each of the 15 city stops along the tour, fans can participate in many THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON activities and prize giveaways related to the film. Additionally, each tour stop will end with a talent Question & Answer forum open to the public and select cities will feature performances from artists on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON soundtrack. Fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31st will be granted access to a special event with select cast members at their respective malls.
For the chance to register and meet cast members of the highly anticipated feature film THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, fans need to visit Hot Topic or select Nordstrom stores at 8:00am on October 31st at one of the participating mall locations. They will be given access to return and meet select cast members at that same mall on the assigned scheduled date and time. VIP credentials provided on October 31st are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to those who make qualifying purchases. VIP credentials are non-transferable.
Visit Hot Topic (www.hottopic.com) and Nordstrom (www.nordstrom.com/newmoon) websites for more details on how to acquire VIP access to meet members of the cast along the tour which runs from November 6th through November 19th. Exact cast members will be subject to availability and may vary from event to event.

Hot Topic to Host New Moon Listening Parties
Hot Topic has announced that they will be hosting listening parties for the Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, similar to what they did last year for the Twilight soundtrack (which was a really fun!).
The parties will be held next Friday, October 16th at 7pm. Be sure to go and check out some of the new songs and hear a special message from the bands!
Also people who pre order the soundtrack during the listening parties will get a special gift! And Hot Topic has once again partnered with Summit Entertainment to do the cast tours through some Hot Topic stores!
Hot Topic – New Moon Merchandise Released on Oct 1st
Hot Topic has announced that the New Moon merchandise will hit stores (and the internet) on October 1st. Among the new items will be replicas of Bella’s clothing from the movie, including her birthday dress and green corduroy jacket, some new Edward and Jacob character tees, and more. Will Hot Topic Do Well In New Moon Sales?
Forbes has a new article where they wonder if retailer Hottopic.com
will see the same big sales for New Moon that they saw for Twilight.
The apparel based on the “Twilight” hit book and movie series about teenage vampires had helped Hot Topic ( HOTT – news – people ) post big gains in sales late last year and earlier this year while other retailers struggled.
But other stores are also releasing “New Moon” product, and Van Sinderen said the company felt it would be hard to be better than flat with last year’s “Twilight” sales.
Given that Hot Topic was pretty much the only place to get Twilight merch last year, and we’ve seen big sales pushes from mainstream retailers like Wal-Mart into Twilight land in the last few months, it’ll be interesting to see if the lack of exclusivity can be made up with a higher profile movie.

Hot Topic Twilight Blowout
Apparently Hot Topic is having a HUGE SALE on all things Twilight. Just to give an example of the price drops, the shirt in the photo above was $22.00 and now it’s $4.99. Sounds like it’s a good time to stock up on everything Twilight!
