Jamie Campbell Bower Filming “Camelot”
Jamie Campbell Bower has begun filming is new project, a television series entitled Camelot, in which he will play King Arthur.
Jamie Campbell Bower (“Caius” in The Twilight Saga: New Moon), who also stars in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II as “Gellert Grindelwald,” has just begun filming for Camelot, according to one source.
In Camelot, a television series co-starring Eva Green, Claire Forlani, and Joseph Fiennes, Bower portrays King Arthur.
Reportedly, filming for Camelot will run through December of this year, leaving just enough time for Bower to (hopefully) come back to the Twilight set for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
Recently, Twilight series screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg insinuated that there’d be more insight into the Volturi’s actions during the Breaking Dawn sequences in the film version of the story, and this means that some parts – like Bower’s “Caius” – may be more expansive than they are in the book version.

Jamie Campbell-Bower Joins Cast of ‘Game of Thrones’
UGO is reporting that Jamie Campbell Bower will star in HBO’s upcoming new series called Game of Thrones, based on a book series by George R. R. Martin called A Song of Fire and Ice.
- “I have absolutely no idea whether “March” will translate to “early March” or “the end of March.” The decision could be announced today, for all I know. Or maybe they will make us all wait until March 31. The Ides… well, maybe not. I don’t know if I can wait another fifteen days, and anyway that date has ominous connotations. “Beware the Ides of March,” and all that. So please let us know before that, HBO.” Martin said on his “not blog” Monday morning. By Tuesday afternoon he was at a presumed loss for words, and simply posted a classic Peanuts video.
- HBO has requested a total of ten episodes, including the existing pilot. Filming is said to resume this June, locations include Northern Ireland and Morocco.
- Although the number of actual seasons is dependant on ratings, it’s said each season will cover the storyline of at least one book.
- The cast includes Mark Addy ( A Knight’s Tale, Still Standing, The Full Monty), Sean Bean (Troy, Percy Jackson & The Olympians) Peter Dinklage (The Station Agent, Elf), Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd, Rocknrolla), Jennifer Ehle (Wilde, Pride and Prejudice), Lena Headey (300) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven) among others.

Here is a new interview from Jamie Campbell Bower in Evening Standard.
He’s currently travelling round America promoting New Moon, the second in the series of films adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga. He plays a member of the elite Volturi family, Michael Sheen plays his father and Dakota Fanning his sister. ‘It’s a grower, not a show-er,’ he says of the size of his role. ‘With New Moon the Volturi are introduced; in the fourth book we come back and basically the fourth book is about the fight between the Volturi and the Cullens [Robert Pattinson's character's family].’
Bailey’s Interview With Edi Gathegi and Jamie Campbell-Bower

I am back from my interview with Edi Gathegi and Jamie Campbell Bower, and I had an amazing time. This was such a great experience, and I want to thank both actors for allowing me to interview them.
Here is the Q&A:
Bailey Carver: Did you read the books before filming?
Edi Gathegi: …Only after I got the script for the Twilight movie, and I was interested in the character that I was auditioning for. I read the book to understand the part better.
Jamie Campbell Bower: I read the books after I received the Twilight script. The books were addictive.
BC: Was it hard to switch directors for New Moon?
EG: Easy to switch, because I have never been with the same director for any movie or show that I have done.
BC: Is it hard to play an evil character?
EG: It’s a fun character to play, and as an actor my greatest goal is to transform into a character so different from me…and a villain is one of the biggest transformations I can do.
JCB: I originally wanted to be Edward, but unfortunately was not able to meet with the producers and had other commitments. But I am glad to be a part of the second film.
BC: Jaime, tell us about being an actor and playing in (your band) the Rose Buds.
JCB: I love them both.
BC: Why might ‘New Moon’ be more appealing to a male audience than the first Twilight?
EG: There are two new groups, the Wolfpack and the Volturi — a very strong and dangerous vampire coven. In this movie, it brings the action to a whole new level.
BC: What charities do you support?
JCB: I haven’t found a charity that I directly associate with, but I do donate to an epilectic foundation because my father has epilepsy, and it just hits close to home.
EG: I have no direct association yet. I did a benefit to cure autism called Autism Speaks, and I also work with the Somali Mom Organization.
BC: Future projects?
JCB: London Boulevard, Harry Potter and an HBO show called Game of Thorns.

Rome Film Festival Updates
Previously unseen New Moon footage premiered at the Rome Film Festival earlier today. Here is a description of the scenes they showed.
SPOILER ALERT!
From Rome
- They showed 3 unseens. Edward leaving Bella, from when he was waiting for her at home, untile he leaves, then a featurette of Bella running toward Edward and hugging him in Montepulciano, in the Volterra scene and another featurette showing the Volturi hall, without the CGI decorations
Edward leaves Bella:
Edward is waiting for Bella at her house, because they need to talk. He tells her he needs to leave Forks because Carlisle is raising suspicions in town. At first Bella is convinced that Edward wants to take her with him, but then starts realizing that’s not the case. She asks Edward: “What do you mean by “us”?”. He responds: “Only my family.” Bella gets upset. Tells Edward again that the incident with Jasper was nothing, and Edward answers that is exactly the problem: “Nothing compared to what could have happened.”He tells her she doesn’t belong in his world. Bella answers “Well, that changes many things.” That is when Edward says line we’ve seen in the trailer “This is the last time you’ll see me.” Bella tries to convince him to stay, that she’s not afraid to lose her soul, but Edward doesn’t give in. The scene ends with Edward leaving. Screen then goes to black and we see Bella fall to the ground.

No Naked Volturi Scene

According to various Twilight Saga fan sites, they received a email forwarded to them from Summit Entertainment, written by New Moon director Chris Weitz. In the email he advises -
Dear all,
I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in the book! — fully clothed.

Naked Volturi Leaders?
July 29, 2009 by Sara

Jamie Campbell Bower, in a recent interview with MTV.com. There is a scene in the upcoming New Moon, in which the 3 Volturi Leaders are naked -
“We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene,” revealed “New Moon” actor Jamie Campbell Bower, talking about a racy moment that was added into the upcoming film. “Yeah, it’s me, Michael Sheen and Christopher [Heyerdahl]; we just sit there, naked.”
“We’re just chilling out, just watching the game and having a Bud,” Bower laughed of the scene, which depicts Carlisle hanging with the Volturi back in the day. “No, that doesn’t sound right. I’m so British. I can’t say that stuff.”
In actuality, the scene has a fully clothed Carlisle visiting the Volturi in Italy, only to locate Aro, Caius and Marcus in a bathhouse. “It’s a full-body shot, and then Peter comes in, and it all gets a bit awkward,” Bower said. “[Carlisle] is clothed completely. They’re bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing.”
