1) Chosen One
Kellan Lutz chose a lucky fan from the crowd to accompany him to the premiere! It took a few minutes for her to get through the masses, but Kellan waited patiently before walking arm in arm with her to catch the early screening of New Moon.
2) Serious Signage
The fan signs were one of the highlights of the night, from asking Robert for a bromance to offering up love to “Team Whatever I Can Get!” Rob looked psyched to pose with fans and hand out as many autographs as possible, though Kristen was the one who ended up with pen all over her hands — aww.

3) Hair-Felt Moment
Whenever Robert touched his hair, the crowd let loose their biggest screams. He knows what the ladies want!

4) With a Band
Jackson Rathbone was hard pressed to answer whether his passions lie more with music or acting, but he was happy to promote both New Moon and his upcoming 100 Monkeys album, Purple. He also laughed off questions of whether we should expect to hear a cameo from Robert on his albums ever, saying, “Nothing but Monkeys, darlin’.”

5) Her Big Entrance
Of the three stars, Kristen Stewart was the last to arrive. The announcer’s mere mention of Bella rolling up in her limo sent the fans into a frenzy . . . and that was before we even saw her gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown!

6) Up and Up
Anna Kendrick sparkled in her one-shoulder dress but was completely humble when we brought up the Oscar buzz for her performance in Up In The Air. She says it’s getting “weirder and weirder” to hear it, but of course she is totally flattered — plus, she says her friends are more impressed that she’s worked with George Clooney than Robert Pattinson.

7) Old Friends
After doing most of their mall tours together, longtime friends Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene hit the red carpet at the same time. The two posed together, and at one point Kellan even stepped on Ashley’s train — whoops! Kellan was especially grateful for all the attention that’s been paid to his charity work recently.

His Two Loves
Peter Facinelli planted lots of kisses on his wife Jennie Garth, but he was also eager to show off another of his passions — his iPhone! He whipped it out during tons of interviews, showing off his new favorite app in which you can “Vampire-ize” anyone’s photo.

9) Just the Two of Us
Kristen Stewart says she hopes that New Moon changes some Team Edward fans into Team Jacob ones, since that’s “sort of the point” of the movie. She and Taylor Lautner posed playfully together on the red carpet, which delighted all the fans, though some were still disappointed that Robert and Kristen kept their distance.

10) So in Love
Cat Deeley looked thrilled to be on the arm of her boyfriend Jack Huston, who makes his Twilight saga debut in Eclipse. Cat also stopped to compliment Lily Sheen on her stylish combination of black dress, black leggings, and black Doc Martin boots!

New Moon Specials on MTV

On Monday night, while the stars of New Moon are walking the red carpet at the LA premiere of the film, MTV will be airing two back-t0-back specials on New Moon.

“Love Bites” gets up close and personal chronicling the budding rumored romance between Pattinson and Stewart from its early stages through present day.  MTV digs into the archives to give viewers a look at their first, very intimate audition on a casting couch and their first interview, where the two candidly talk about nights spent together. Hitting the streets of Vancouver and Portland where the films were shot, viewers will find out what goes on when the cast has down time and what local bars, restaurants and locations they frequent, as well as hear from people who see them when they are off camera.  From rumors of an engagement, to nasty break-ups and even nights with other celebrities, the love life obsession with the cast is at an all-time high, so when it comes to “Twilight,” love certainly bites.

In “New Moon Revealed” MTV News will continue to provide fans with unrivaled access to the “Twilight” saga.  Hosted by Kim Stolz, this 30-minute special will be anchored from “New Moon” mall events in Los Angeles and Chicago, and will prominently feature the die-hard fans of the series as they gather to get close to the actors they’ve worshipped from afar.  In the show, MTV News will countdown the five hottest, most burning questions fans of the “Twilight” series want answered — from exploring how stardom has changed Robert Pattinson, to finding out whether Kristen Stewart is on Team Edward or Team Jacob, to telling the behind-the-scenes story of how Taylor Lautner almost lost the role of Jacob, MTV News has all the answers.

MySpace will host the exclusive live stream of Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon red carpet arrivals at the world premiere on Monday, November 16 at www.myspace.com/newmoonpremiere. The unprecedented online access is the first time moviegoers across the globe can experience the premiere first-hand, as it unfolds. Viewers will also be able to take part by posting comments or questions to The Twilight Saga: New Moon Premiere MySpace page that may then be presented to the celebrities during the broadcast. The red carpet arrivals will stream live from Los Angeles beginning at 6:00 PM PT. Anya Marina, writer and performer of “Satellite Heart” on The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, will co-host the broadcast.

Rachelle LeFevre Attending New Moon Premier

After Rachelle Lefevre’s role of Victoria was recast for Eclipse, she dropped off the Twilight promo map. She may not be involved in any of the New Moon promotion anymore, but don’t expect Rachelle Lefevre to be a no-show at the premiere on November 16. She plans to be there to celebrate the film’s release with the rest of the cast!

There’s been a lot of speculation has to whether actress Rachelle Lefevre would attend the premiere of Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight: New Moon”. If you remember, she played vampire villain Victoria in the original “Twilight” as well as in the second installment, however, due to schedule conflicts, she was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard for the third installment titled “Twilight: Eclipse”. According to reports, the actress wouldn’t miss the premiere for the world. She worked so hard on the film and she’s excited to re-unite with her cast-mates. Personally, I thought Lefevre was great as Victoria and very convincing. I think Bryce Dallas Howard was the better known star and producers now-a-days do anything they can to gain publicity.
