Nikki Reed on ‘Off The Cuff With Peter Travers’
Nikki Reed talks to Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers in a post-Eclipse interview.
Which Movies Do You Love or Hate?
This in from Rolling Stone:
“Hollywood had its biggest year ever with $10.6 billion — I said billion! — in the till for 2009. And we weren’t just paying more for the price of a ticket. Admissions were up by four percent. But if we are defined as a culture by the movies that win the popular vote, you may be pulled up short by this list of the Top 10 winners of 2009…Tell me which one of these Top 10 grossers you’d put in your personal time capsule and which one you’d like to see burn like the Nazi high command at the end of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds?”

Taylor Lautner is on a bunch of magazine covers this month. He was previously seen on Men’s Health, now he is on Rolling Stone. You can get the photogalley here and a video of the shoot here.
Check out what Taylor had to say:
“Don’t you think that when some fans see New Moon, they may be disappointed, because you’re kind of the villain in a way.
I have some pretty passionate team Jacob fans [laughs].Right. But you’re also the obstacle getting in the way of the great romance between Bella and Edward.
I can see where you’re coming from. The thing is, Jacob and Edward are two completely different guys. They are opposites. And it’s just what kind of girl you are. If you like that more mysterious, dangerous type, then that’s one guy. I personally love Jacob and Bella’s relationship, and how they began as friends. They are so much more open, and can tell each other anything. And Bella and Edward’s relationship, it’s always tense. It’s always serious. But Jacob and Bella’s friendship starts growing stronger and stronger and you just wonder if they can go past friends. It looks like that at some points. But when your character hangs up on Edward in New Moon, it sets off the whole chain of events that almost lead to a major tragedy. That’s something a villain would do.
Yes. that is part of Jacob’s character. He can’t really control himself. When he gets mad, he gets mad. And all Jacob has on his mind is on Bella. That’s who he cares for. That’s who he loves. If somebody gets in his way, it’s not good. And he will explode. So I guess you could see that either way.”
Rolling Stone Reviews New Moon Soundtrack
Check out what Rolling Stone had to say recently about the New Moon Soundtrack:
“It’s a shame John Hughes didn’t live to hear the New Moonsoundtrack — it’s a Pretty in Pink for our vampire-crazed times. Indeed, if Hughes were making a Breakfast Club 2010, Molly Ringwald’s detention buddies would have to include a vampire, a zombie, a werewolf and whatever Judd Nelson was. As any goth girl can tell you, undead dudes are way cooler than the flesh-and-blood kind.
The genius of the Twilight saga is the way it celebrates the passion of the all-American fang hag, with Robert Pattinson as the perfect plasma-slurping pinup boy: He’s hot, he’s sexy, and he’s undead. So New Moon is a movie soundtrack, but it’s also a concept album about the bond between teenage girls and their imaginary bloodsucker boyfriends.”

Taylor Lautner in Rolling Stone
Taylor Lautner was spotted riding a bike on the beach for a new photo shoot. He’s also posing wet and shirtless. Hmmmmmm I don’t think I mind at all. Looks like he’s going to have a spread in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone. More pics of the shoot can be found in our gallery!
